PS60 non-woven coolant separator – precise filtration of machining fluid

The PS60 is a reliable device for filtering coolant from non-magnetic contaminants such as abrasive particles, ceramic dust, and fine sludge from grinding cemented carbide and non-ferrous metals. Thanks to the use of a special filter fabric, it ensures a high level of cutting fluid purification, which translates into longer tool life and stable machining processes.

The separator can work independently or in tandem with a magnetic separator (e.g. MS60), creating a complete filtration system.

Principle of operation

Contaminated coolant flows by gravity onto the surface of the filter fabric. Contaminants settle on the material's surface, creating a so-called "secondary filter," which increases particle retention efficiency.

When the coolant level rises to a certain level, a float sensor triggers the removal of the used fabric. A new piece of fabric is automatically pulled up, and the cleaned coolant is transferred to a tank and then – via a pump – returned to the machine.
