GRAFS CG-1500e

The GRAFS CG series grinder is designed for sharpening knives used mainly in the printing, woodworking and recycling industries.

The grinder features a number of improvements that ensure high-quality sharpening for many years of use. It is equipped with a rotating electromagnetic chuck ( 1500 mm long in the CG-1500e model ), and knives can also be mounted using clamps on the other side of the table. Proper cooling of sharpened surfaces is ensured by a cooling system with a tank and a magnetic coolant separator with a rotating drum (model MS60). The filter and tank are hidden inside the machine, reducing the space required for the entire machine. Our design allows for installation in a small space, which is often crucial in modern manufacturing facilities.
The standard motor power of the grinder is 5.5 kW . Our special mounting bracket allows for quick and easy removal and installation of the grinding wheel using just three mounting screws.
The trolley is equipped with top-quality rolling rollers (PWTR), ensuring quiet and smooth operation. The trolley moves on hardened steel metal belts.
Additionally, the grinder comes standard with a carriage speed control system ( potentiometer and Mitsubishi inverter ). The control cabinet with all switches is located on the left side of the CG model. It utilizes Schneider, Omron, and Mitsubishi components. The frame can be optionally equipped with accordion covers to prevent coolant dust. The machine is ideal for sharpening knives requiring high rigidity, such as chipper knives, granulator knives, and planer knives.

- Easy grinding wheel feed using a hand wheel (mechanical automatic feed - with a ratchet - as an additional option),
- Easy assembly of the grinding wheel (a special holder designed in our company enables quick assembly of the grinding wheel using three clamping screws - the so-called bayonet holder),
- Efficient sharpening of both soft and high-hardness steels such as: NC11LV, HSS, WIDIA cemented carbides,
- Internal tank with coolant pump (standard) , separator as an option,
- Rigid and strong construction without vibrations, body welded from 10 mm thick plates, ribs ensuring high stiffness, carriage and trolley made of 20 mm thick steel plates,
- 5.5 kW grinding wheel motor in IE3 standard (Polish-made motor, equipped with special reinforced spindle bearings with elimination of axial play),
- Powerful electromagnetic chuck with a working surface of 150x1500 mm
- Table with T-slot for mounting knives using clamping clamps (e.g. for mounting 4 knives at the same time),
- Possibility of mounting any grinding wheel (CBN, DIA, Segmented) - from diameter 175 to 200 mm,
- Smooth adjustment of the carriage speed from 1 to 12 m/min (using the potentiometer knob),
- Precise, adjustable upper scale indicating the position of the grinding wheel motor ,
- Scale indicating the rotation angle of the magnetic table ,
- Possibility of mounting additional accordion covers on the machine body,
- Possibility to attach any type of coolant filter to the machine - magnetic, non-woven or a combined set.

The CG grinder is a 100% Polish product, built exclusively with European components. The machine has all the necessary electrical tests, a Polish manual, and an EU declaration of conformity (CE mark).
