Circular knife sharpening – GRAFS

We specialise in professional sharpening of circular knives used in various industries – from printing and packaging, through film, paper and board converting, to the textile and plastics industries.
We grind both HSS steel knivesand cemented carbide (HM) knives.

What do we sharpen?

• Straight and bevelled circular knives, with diameters from around a dozen mm up to 500 mm.

• Creasing, cutting and perforating knives.

• Knives with protective coatings (e.g. TiN, DLC, Teflon) – preserving the coating where possible.

• Knives from various manufacturers – domestic and foreign.

How does sharpening at GRAFS work?

1. Removing the knife from the machine – before shipping, it is important to clean it thoroughly of material residues and grease.

2. Preparing the order – in our shop you choose the knife diameter and number of pieces.

3. Shipping to our service – put a note with the order number and your address in the parcel to speed up identification.

4. Precision sharpening – we work on industrial grinders with angle guides and liquid cooling to keep the edge geometry perfect and avoid overheating.

5. Quality control – we check radial runout, blade uniformity and sharpness around the entire circumference.

6. Return of the tools – once sharpening is finished and payment has been received, we ship the knives back. Standard turnaround time including transport is 2–3 days.

NOTE! Please note that sharpening prices apply to 1 bevel on the knife. For double-sided sharpening or knives with unusual geometry, please contact us for an individual quote.
