GRAFS GRfix-1500e

The GRAFS GRfix series grinder is designed for rough and highly efficient grinding of steel surfaces.

The grinder features a number of improvements that ensure high-quality grinding over many years of use. It is equipped with a fixed electromagnetic chuck (in the GRfix-1500e model with dimensions of 300x1500 mm). Proper cooling is provided by a cooling system with a tank and a magnetic coolant separator with a rotating drum – model MS60.

The standard grinding motor power is 11 kW. A holder developed in-house allows quick removal and fitting of the segmented grinding wheel using just three fixing screws. The Ø300 mm grinding wheel is fitted with 6 aluminium oxide segments of a suitably matched grit. The carriage is equipped with top-class linear rollers (PWTR), which ensures quiet and smooth operation. It runs on replaceable hardened steel strips.

GRfix model has been equipped with PLC control + 7″ HMI panel Mitsubishi, enabling easy programming of the grinding cycle (operation without infeed, automatic infeed 0,001–0,05 mm, spark-out, pause), as well as remote service support via Wi-Fi.

A special laser sensor lets the machine “read” the height of the workpiece and set the target thickness after grinding on the panel.

The machine is ideal for rough grinding of steel plates – wherever high performance and stability are required.
